Nobscot offers a unique camping experience in its 7 "Lean-to" sites, with a total of 12 shelters, which are three-sided structures that can accommodate either 4 or 8 people. All sites also offer space for tenting, with a capacity that varies widely from a few scouts to over 75, making sites like Peabody and Canopache great for large groups.
Every lean-to site is equipped with at least one picnic table and a fire ring or pit. The terrain and overall feel of the sites vary, from open and flat areas perfect for group activities to more secluded, hilly, or dense wooded locations. Most sites are also conveniently located near a water pump and latrine.
Nobscot also has 2 large open air Pavilions that can be used for gatherings or overnights. These are perfect for when wanting to maintain that wilderness experience, but weekend plans need shelter from rain or snow.
