Audience: IDEAL for INTERMEDIATE Campers.
Tenting Capacity: A total of 100-125 campers across two distinct areas:
EllisLand Woods (~50 scouts) and
EllisLand Meadow (50-75 scouts).
Amenities: 2 picnic tables (in the Woods area) and a FirePit in both the Woods and Meadow.
Character: The site consists of a wooded area and a large open field, providing two different camping experiences.

Distance: A 0.59-mile carry in/carry out hike.
Trail Conditions: The path has sections of moderately sloped terrain, making it possible to pull a cart.
Directions: Take EllisLand Trail to the end and turn right on Jethro Trail. The entrance is a few hundred yards up on your left.
Water/Privies: The latrine at cabins 10 and 11 is very close. The water pump near Highland Cabin 13 is not far.
Feel: Offers an excellent wilderness feel for tenting in the woods, along with a field for activities.
