• Fires: 1 outdoor chimney and a FireRing (with cooking grate).

• GPS Coordinates: 42.34558, -71.44327

• Distance: A remote 0.4-mile carry in/carry out hike from the parking lot.

• Trail Conditions: A long, mostly steeply-sloped, difficult path with some very steep sections. Do not try to pull a cart.

• Directions: Take EllisLand Trail to Fire Trail. → Tantamous is a modest hike up Fire Trail in the woods on the left.

🏕️ Tenting Capacity

• Tenting: A flat area immediately surrounding the lean-tos can accommodate a small group of 8+ scouts.

🚰 Amenities

• Water/Latrines: A walk of about 1/8 mile through the woods. The nearest latrine is on the south leg of Jethro Trail, and the nearest water pump is on the north leg of Jethro Trail.

• Character: Provides a remote wilderness experience with limited room for nearby tenting.
